About Freehold AI

Freehold AI lets you run supported AI models on your device and configure assistants for different purposes. Available features depend on your device, operating system, downloaded assets and selected model. Model downloads require an internet connection; supported local inference works offline once the required assets are installed.

These terms describe model use and our service. For an App Store download, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement governs the app licence unless an approved custom licence is supplied with the app. Model licences apply separately. Nothing here reduces mandatory rights you have under applicable law.

Your choice of model

You choose among the models available for your device and can associate a model with an assistant. Models differ in language ability, accuracy, speed and response behaviour. Some may be described by their publishers as uncensored or unrestricted. Those descriptions do not guarantee any particular response, accuracy, suitability or permission to use the model for every purpose.

A model may produce material that is inaccurate, fabricated, biased, offensive or unsuitable for some audiences. Availability in the library is not our endorsement of its responses. Assistant names and instructions do not turn a model into a qualified professional or give it capabilities the app does not provide.

Your content and use

You retain any rights you hold in the material you enter. We do not claim ownership of your private conversations. We do not promise that generated material is unique, protected by copyright, or free of third-party rights.

You are responsible for having permission to use the text, images or recordings you provide, and for your own decisions about using or sharing output. Use the app in accordance with applicable law and the selected model's licence. Respect other people's privacy and intellectual property. These responsibilities do not excuse us from obligations that the law places on us.

Review output before relying on it. The app is not an emergency service, and its responses are not a substitute for qualified medical, legal, financial or other professional advice.

Third-party models and software

Model weights, voices and software components may belong to other publishers. Their licences and any applicable use conditions govern those components. The app's model information and licence notices identify the relevant sources. A right to use Freehold AI does not grant additional rights over someone else's model, trademark or output.

We may update the catalogue as compatibility, availability or licence conditions change. A model's inclusion does not guarantee support on every device or in every future app version. We will describe supported capabilities and significant limitations accurately.

Local data and external services

Our Privacy Policy explains local storage, diagnostics, downloads, backups and exports. Keep copies of information you need. Starting a new conversation may archive an existing conversation; it is not necessarily deletion.

When you export or share material, the recipient or storage provider handles that copy under its own arrangements. Download hosts, Apple and linked websites also operate their own services. This does not remove any responsibility we have for our own actions.

Purchases, updates and remedies

Any price and purchase conditions will be shown through the applicable App Store purchase flow before payment. These terms do not introduce a subscription or additional charge. Apple may administer payment and refund requests; that does not take away any remedy you are entitled to against us under applicable law.

Updates may fix faults or change supported features. We will communicate material changes and respect any rights you have where a change affects a purchase. We do not promise indefinite availability of every third-party model.

Consumer rights, warranties and liability

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies a consumer guarantee, remedy or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified. Australian users retain their rights under the Australian Consumer Law, including applicable remedies for goods or services that fail to meet consumer guarantees.

AI output can be wrong or unsuitable for your purpose, and service interruptions can occur. These limitations do not remove our responsibility for meeting applicable consumer guarantees or other legal obligations. Your rights to remedies, including compensation where the law provides it, remain intact.

Questions and changes

Contact support@plainwonderapps.com about these terms or a problem with the app. We will publish a dated version when the terms change and bring material changes to users' attention. Changes do not retrospectively remove accrued rights. Nothing here forces you to waive mandatory local protections or access to an available court or regulator.
